My Artsy Side

I LOVE being artistic!!! I don't get to do it as often as I like but it is my number one hobby. :) For those of you who don't know, I actually was an art major before I changed to social work. Sometimes I wish I had stayed in it long enough to take some pottery, painting, or sculpture classes. But maybe one day I will! Until then, I'll post pictures of my creative endeavors for you all to see. Hope you enjoy! :)

Here are some past projects I've had:

This was originally a picture my very gifted cousin Jon took of my sister Kaytie.  She loves sunsets so I painted this for her for Christmas.

This one is a drawing I did of my mom with my sister Jarah. It was my mom's Christmas present and has one of my favorite verses on it - I Peter 3:4.

This is a mosaic I did at Purple Glaze in Tulsa.

This is the first painting I ever did. It's originally done by Natasha Wescoat but I loved it so much I had to do it. It is now in my guest bedroom! :)
